Whilst living for a few months in the romantic French countryside, I become attached to a group of curious and friendly cows. They hung out in a field behind our house and were particularly fascinated with our dog, Doby. He kept the cows entertained for hours, running and chasing along the fence.
One of the young female calf’s had a special talent, she was an escape artist and always found her way into our garden, so that she could munch on the plum and walnut trees (we named her Klara). I enjoyed spending time with our new furry friends and just love their big soft eyes and long eyelashes. Early one morning, I was watching how our young Klara would stand-up after a nights rest. It looked like she was bowing as she stood-up with her back legs straight and her front knees still on the ground. This is where my idea for Klara the Cow Who Knows How To Bow was born. It is my pleasure to introduce you to my very special friend, Klara The Cow Who Knows How To Bow!
